The starting point is a good quality leisure battery with a split charge. We use EXIDE Marine 115ah Leisure Batteries with a Durite Split Charger. You will then need your main control panel, we use the PMS3 System which includes a Leisure Battery Charger and your 240v Electric Hook Up. Inverters are optional, these mean you can use your 240v sockets without Electric Hook Up, we fit 700w-2000w.
Lighting is another necessity and something we have plenty of options for. The most popular is 6 x LED Spotlights but we also fit reading lights, mood lighting, strip LED lighting, remote lighting and much much more.
Solar Panels are becoming more and more popular over the years. We now fit one to 4 out of 5 full conversions we carry out. These come in 100w or 150w and are semi flexible and less than 3mm thick. These will trickle charge your leisure battery keeping it topped up. We’re tried and tested a 150w solar panel on a 2 week trip away and didn’t need hook up once. It kept our fridge, lights, TV, phone chargers and laptops going the whole time. Here’s to much more wild camping!
Other electrical options are Double Din Stereo Upgrades, Speaker Upgrades, Reverse Sensors and Reverse Cameras. A 16″ TV is also a popular addition.
Lastly we fit Electric Windows to VW T5’s. So if you’re looking for a T5 and Electric Windows is a selling point, we can retro fit them for you.
