As first time owners of a T5 in need of a conversion from a basic panel van, and absolute novices in the VW world, we looked around several conversion companies in the south west before plumping for Sam and Ami. The reason was quite simple: not only were they competitive price -wise, but what stood them out from their competitors was their enthusiasm, honesty and relaxed approach. Nothing has been too much trouble for either of them: keeping us in touch with progress to answering what probably felt like endless daft questions from us. No need to look any further: we’d thoroughly recommenced Sam and Ami to anyone.

Sam and Ami have been brilliant – I needed a tricky custom conversion to accommodate my mobility scooter and make the van as easy as possible for me to use. Not only were they happy to take on a completely bespoke project, they approached it with great creativity and fantastic customer service throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend Moore’s Campers for anyone looking for something completely tailored to their needs. Can’t wait for my first camping trip in my beautiful revamped van now! Sam and Ami, thank you so much for all the hard work and thought you put in to making my van just right for me.
We approached Moore’s Campers to complete the conversion of our VW T5 and from our first meeting their professionalism, enthusiasm and attention to detail was very impressive. Sam’s skills and ability to understand our hopes and dreams coupled with Ami’s superb product knowledge were truly amazing and they even coped with us hovering over them like expectant parents while the work was in progress! They have given us the van of our dreams and “Moore”. The whole process from start to finish has been a stress free and enjoyable journey, my only regret is no longer having the excuse to have cuddles with Milo their four pawed security guard

Sam, great job, well worth the day out to have windows and double swivel seat done. I’m sure we will see you again. Ami, hope Milo is well after taking a shine to Mayzie Moo. Good luck for the future.

You know the old saying ‘if it looks too good to be true then it probably is’? Well Moore’s Campers have turned that saying upside-down and smacked it’s bottom. Their work is simply faultless. I don’t think I have ever dealt with a more efficient, dedicated, and delightful company. Thank you Sam and Ami, top couple, top company.
We found Moore’s Custom Campers on the internet whilst looking for the internals of our VW T5 conversion. They offered kitchen units in all sorts of colours for a reasonable price. Contact followed and they agreed to give us a flatpack of all the units and supply us with all the other stuff we needed, like cooker, fridge, electrics, etc. We live in Holland and only had a week in which to pick it up and build it. We asked lots of questions beforehand and whether by phone or email, they answered very quickly and tried to accommodate all our wishes. Even difficult ones! When picking up our order, we found the owners, a lovely young couple, to be very friendly and very helpful. Fitting it all together with the drawing they made and the instructions/ tips they gave, made it easier. A missing part was immediately made and posted to us. We now have a very nice looking camper van. You cannot see the difference between a factory fitted interior and the materials supplied by Moore’s Custom Campers. When having it tested in Holland, the official inspector, who sees lots of these vans, asked for details of the suppliers, as he was interested himself. So thanks again you two. We have a brilliant looking van now. We would recommend using your company to anyone. You’re great!

Having bought out 2008 T5 in May, we then cast around for a suitable company to carry out a full conversion to a campervan. It’s a confusing market with lots of companies advertising their services via magazines, eBay and on the various Facebook forums. Moore’s Campers popped up on one of the FB forums advertising a spare full campervan conversion slot for the month of August and as we were down their way in June, we popped in unannounced to check them out. Sam and Ami were at once very welcoming, happy to show what they did and how they did it and spent time with us on a very busy day where they even had a visit from a couple of interested police offices from the local constabulary! We booked our van in there and then for a full campervan conversion in August and from that time on we kept in full contact with Ami and Sam on our requirements which were met to the letter. Ami and Sam were accommodating in all our needs and nothing was too much trouble – the van has fully met all of our needs and we look forward to getting out and about in it over the coming months and years!
The highlight so far for us with the blue van has been a week spent around Wales during which we attended the magical Festival Number 6 at Port Merion. Having spent several years using a 1974 late bay VW, the trip this time was a joy in comparison with no need to worry about breaking down in the middle of nowhere! At the festival many people stopped and admired the van, with the eye catching wheels attracting particular attention. During the week away we really appreciated the concise storage space, comfy bed and best of all the solar powered fridge that ensured chilled beer at all times. We hope to have many years exploring Britain and maybe Europe in the comfort of this cracking Transporter.
We purchased our T5 Orange Van from you Summer 2012. Extremely pleased with it. There have been no problems and it just sailed through another MOT with flying colours. The conversion is excellent very professionally done,it still looks as good as new and yes we have used it. We have been to Holland, Belgium, France and around the UK in summer as well as winter. We would definitely recommend your company.

Moore’s Custom Campers were very helpful from the start. My wife & I had concerns about finding a company that would take on the bespoke relining of a 1975 Commer PB series van. We knew that it would be an individual job and that it might only come at a premium. We found Moore’s, a company then unknown to us, online, liked the look of their work and put in our enquiry. They got back to us straight away with sensible questions and after exchanging a few photos and details provided a very fair quote for the work. Perhaps most importantly, they showed a genuine interest in our treasured classic camper. Moore’s did exactly what they said they would, fitting our work into a busy schedule and under the maximum quoted price and delivering on time. The work is well done, very sympathetic to the vehicle and we are delighted with the result. We are pleased to speak well of our experience with this friendly team of genuine camper enthusiasts.
